Superlega crolla? I sei club inglesi escono secondo la BBC

L'autorevole BBC, tramite il sito ufficiale, svela che i sei club inglesi che avevano aderito alla Super Lega, si stanno sfilando dal progetto. Restano per ora Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Inter, Juve e Milan. Questa la notizia dell'emittente britannica: "All six Premier League teams involved in the European Super League are set to formally withdraw from the competition". In tarda serata le comunicazioni ufficiali dei club inglesi coinvolti.

Questo il messaggio del Liverpool che conferma l'addio al progetto: "Liverpool Football Club can confirm that our involvement in proposed plans to form a European Super League has been discontinued".

Il tweet del Tottenham è molto simile: "We can confirm that we have formally commenced procedures to withdraw from the group developing proposals for a European Super League". (ESL).

Il tweet dell'Arsenal: "As a result of listening to you and the wider football community over recent days we are withdrawing from the proposed Super League. We made a mistake, and we apologise for it."

Il tweet pubblicato dal Manchester United: "We will not be participating in the European Super League."
